This artwork belongs to the Particle Study collection, studies of different types of quantum particles, and what they would potentially look like if we could view them in physical form. I imagine that this is what particles would look like if we zoomed in, and magnified their forms. Perhaps they would be a mash-up of all the patterns of both the microcosm and macrocosm, with their little spirits and personalities.
This artwork has been lovingly made using handmade, traditionally marbled paper, acrylic skins and collage elements, and layered with tiny detail over the top using acrylic paint and ink. All layers have been sealed using archival mediums.
